On Saturday 20 January over 70 of our Trials family attended another great evening at Stowupland Community Centre. This was our chance to celebrate the 2023 seasons success and have a good old Mardle, whilst enjoying a drink and some nibbles.
ACU Eastern are seeking one or more people to train as sound testing officials for off road events in the Centre to help organisers and competitors comply with environmental standards.
At the Trials Committee Call on March 2nd , the committee reviewed the ACU-EC Trials Grading rules, see the meeting minutes online and the May ACU-EC Gazette for full details. As a result of this the committee agreed the following with regard to riders current graded as ACU-EC Expert.
It has come to light in recent weeks that there has been an increasing trend in Helmets being presented at Technical Control without an ACU Gold Sticker attached. The ACU would like to remind all riders that it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that the helmet they present to Technical Control is ACU Approved and has the suitable ACU Gold Sticker attached.
Forestry England and the landowners of Rushford Estate, where Diss MCC held an enduro event during 2020, have reported a very high level of illegal riding over the past two weekends, including a gang of 30 riders seen in the forest on Sunday 21st Feb.
