It is with great sadness that we have to let you know that Marie Armes passed away on Saturday February 15th 2020.
She will no doubt be remembered by so many throughout the Eastern Centre for the time and dedication she gave to motorcycle sport for more than 60 years; whether it was taking a tea urn around the sections to provide observers with hot drinks at Centre Trials, or running headline road race events at Snetterton. But most of all she will now be reunited with Colin - no doubt they are already organising the paddock at the St Peters’ Gate GP!
Update: Marie’s funeral will be on Friday March 6th at 14.45 at St Faiths Crematorium; and afterwards at the Holiday Inn, Norwich Airport for a celebration of her life.
