It is with great regret that we learned of the passing of Graham "Chick" Garrod. Chick had been unwell for some time, but until recently his family had brought him to events.
He has been such a stalwart to the Eastern Centre over many years, and the many clubs that he has helped out will miss him terribly. Chick did not mind which job he was asked to do when he attended grass track, motocross or enduro events, whether it was as clerk of the course, steward, noise tester, scrutineer or marshal, he just took it all in his stride.
To state that he will be missed is very much an understatement. To Phyllis, Emma, Adam and all of his family, the Woodbridge club sends its sincerest condolences. Rest in peace Chick.
