On Saturday 20 January over 70 of our Trials family attended another great evening at Stowupland Community Centre. This was our chance to celebrate the 2023 seasons success and have a good old Mardle, whilst enjoying a drink and some nibbles.

With 22 awards there was a table full of Silverware to greet the attendees. Unfortunately, the ACUE Centre Championship winner, Kieran Tovey was ill, so was unable to attend. However, the Centre Championship trophy took pride of place, for all to see, with the engravings celebrating the stars from our centre dating back to 1958, with Ray Clampin the first winner. Another centre champion, in 1967, Anthony Sidge Kenny was our guest of honour and he presented the awards for us. Of course, congratulations go to all the winners and it's very encouraging to see our Youth Riders doing so well!

Rachel and Trevor Harvey were the recipients of the Sheppard Douglas Shield. This is awarded to one of our regular observers each year as a token of our appreciation for all their support, without them we would not be able to run our events.

On behalf of the Trials Committee, many thanks for all the generous donations for the raffle which again helped to support the event.

Wishing everyone a successful 2024 - feet up everyone!!!
